45 minutes: Discovery
A short, sharp opening. A brief debate on what intelligence actually is, then one or two use cases drawn from your own business, with their consequences and the conditions they would need to succeed. Enough to show a leadership team where it already agrees and where it does not.
90 minutes: Extended
More ground and more use cases, built around your organisation rather than general examples. Useful where the board wants real substance but cannot commit half a day.
3 hours: The full AI Fresco
The complete session. Shared understanding, a prioritised view of use cases, agreed principles on governance and risk, and clarity on what happens next.

Is the AI Fresco AI training?
No. Training teaches people to use tools. The AI Fresco builds a shared strategic position: what AI can realistically do for your business, where the operational, ethical and environmental risks sit, and which use cases deserve to go first. Your leaders leave better able to challenge and sponsor AI decisions, not to write prompts.
Can we do it in less than three hours?
Yes. We would far rather run 45 minutes well than not have the conversation at all. But it is worth being clear about what each length does.
Three hours is where a leadership team reaches a genuine shared position, because that is the point at which disagreement surfaces and gets resolved rather than quietly deferred. Forty-five minutes opens the question and shows a team where it diverges. Ninety minutes goes considerably further into use cases.
All three are real sessions and all three are useful. Neither of the shorter ones replaces the full one, and most teams that start short come back for it.
